Chinese Chicken

Just wait, this will not be the last post of weird food from China. I could not find any whole chicken at the foreign food market so I had to get one at Carrefour. My only choice there was one with a head still on it.

Shane was totally grossed out when I even told him about it. He was willing to waste the whole bird rather than eating this one even if I cut the head off (which Johna did LONG before he saw it). For some reason he said it made him think the chicken was less fresh, which didn't make any sense to me. I told Johna I wanted a picture before the head came off. She said, " in the Philippines we usually have the heads still on. Or you can just fry the head by itself." Which made me cringe and scream "yuck!" and jump around the kitchen. But obviously not enough because she promptly asked me, "do you want me to cook the head, too?"
